I am currently doing a foundation in Art & Design and I created this blog to present my final project of the year. I am working on Broken Promises and I wanted to share with you my research, inspiration and my making/design. Comments and opinions are crucial to my project so please share. Thank you and enjoy.

The Minimal Essence of Sony’s ‘Monolithic Design’
Sony’s design team has invited London-based designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby to create an original and experiential installation at this year’s Salone in Milan.
I came across an article in Frame magazine about an exhibition in Milan by Sony's design. Their installation space was transformed into an anechoic chamber – a space with very low ambient noise – constructed from sound absorbing cones. As I am looking into sound at the moment, I thought it was very interesting and it gave you a feel of what it could be like inside that chamber. Also, the architecture of the room and the technology are breathtaking.
